Unhappy Bodde

It seems that Ferrie Bodde has lost patience with the Swans management, according to Sky Sports News. In an unfair attack on the club he apparently said in an interview:

"It is stressing me out. I am waiting but this has been going on since the start of my holidays some seven or eight weeks ago. I am at Swansea now, but my heart and my head are not. At times I am not sure what I will do, but my family is my main focus. I never wanted to leave with a bad taste, but the way things have gone is not my fault.

It was a hard decision to leave, as it was when I left Holland to come to Swansea. It is normal some people may think this is all about me, but it isn't because Swansea are the ones who need to sort this out - they need to be fair. I came here to be a success and I have been helping them to the Championship, but I have ambitions. I want to be in the Premier League and with Derby next year I think I will be and then, I would love the chance to push for the national side. I want to play for Derby and really hope that happens soon so I can begin training with them ready for the new season."

If these are actually Bodde's words I would be suprised. Why would a player want to play for Derby, who will be in the same league as the Swans next season, when he can play in the Premiership for sides like West Brom and Middlesborough, who apparently are also interested. In my opinion, there's fat chance of Derby being promoted this season, judging by the quality of their signings so far this season.
