Third Round Draw: Reading Away

Swansea City could face Championship high-flyers Reading away in the third round of the FA Cup, following this afternoon's live draw. The Swans were handed their third away draw of the competition so far...although they must first overcome Stockport at the Vetch Field next Tuesday.

Reading currently lie fourth in the English Championship and have their own Premiership aspirations - narrowly missing out on the playoffs last season. Two years ago they were beaten in the playoffs by Wolves and are regarded by many as serious candidates for promotion in May.

The draw was kinder to several lower league clubs, with Scunthorpe drawn away at Chelsea, Exeter travelling to Manchester United and Yeading facing Newcastle in the tie of the round.
