2 v 3

A goal three minutes from the end of extra time by Wycombe defender Mike Williamson deservedly ended Swansea's interest in the Carling Cup for another season.

Wycombe took the lead with a well taken strike by Jermaine Easter on 50 minutes. They extended their lead with an excellent shot from outside the area by Stefan Oakes on 64 minutes.

On 72 minutes the Swans pulled a goal back.O'Leary's strike from the edge of the area hit Williamson and ricocheted into the net past a startled Jamie Young in the Wycombe goal. Then on 81 minutes Swans equalised with a quality strike from twenty-five yards by Darren Pratley.

The match then went into extra time and just when it looked like penalties would decide the game, up popped Mike Williamson to score a scrambled goal to win the game.

This was a shocking performance from the Swans, with very little passion or desire to win the game.
