Swansea City could be without Marcos Painter for a long period of time...
The Swansea full-back, was stretchered off in the 50th minute in the game against Southampton on Saturday. Marcos Painter the Swans full-back will be out for at least six months with raptured knee ligaments, this means that he may miss the rest of the season. Painter, who has sighned a new deal with the Swans, went down after his leg locked into the floor.The 23 year old said "I'm devastated at the news as I'm going to be out for a good while, the timescale is six months."
Marcos is going to have surgery when the swelling of his right knee has gone down but he is confident of a full recovery.
The manager of the Swans Roberto Martinez said "It is dissapointing for us but we now hope Marcos recovers quickly."
