Swans Could Be In Trouble Again.....

Referee Grant Hegley has confirmed that an incident involving a number of Swansea players that occurred after the final whistle in Saturdays's match at Boston, will be included in his report - meaning another potential run-in with the FAW. A number of Swansea players are alleged to have kicked the Boston changing room door off of it's hinges as they returned to their own dressing room, with police and security being called to the incident.

Boston Manager Steve Evans told the Lincolnshire Echo that he had witnessed "Terrible scenes" as the two teams retreated to their changing rooms. He claims that a number of Swansea players were chanting as they returned to their dressing room - kicking the Boston door clean off of it's hinges and creating a chaotic situation.

However, Kenny Jackett's report on events was somewhat different to his Boston counterpart. Claiming that "there wasn't any trouble at all", Jackett stated that returning to the dressing room was extremely "daunting" as there were a "few things said" between opposition players.

There can be no doubt that an incident did occur in the tunnel, although it is far more likely that the actual events were somewhere between the two differing statements of the opposition managers. Although neither side was probably 100% in the right, it appears that Swansea could be set to face a second FAW investigation of the season, following their earlier "free for all" at Shrewsbury that saw them receive a heavy fine and a large match ban for defender Garry Monk.
