Supporters are being urged to show their opposition to Swansea council's naming plans for the city's new stadium, by signing an online petition. The council are planning to name the new arena "The City of Swansea Stadium" - a choice that local supporters appear to be completely opposed to.

Swansea supporters have begun an online petition to reinstate the "White Rock" tag to the new stadium's name and are urging others to add their support. Fans of other clubs are also urged to add their support, as another council attempts to name another new stadium void of any personality.
