"No Less Than Two Away Wins Will Do!"

Garry Monk was one of the few players to come out of the game against Northampton with any credit, as the ex-Southampton man looked to forge a partnership with Alan Tate. Nevertheless, Monk, who signed a three-year contract in June, wants to put Saturday's poor team performance behind him and concentrate on getting some much-needed points on the board by the weekend.

Swansea face two tough away trips at Rochdale and Macclesfield within the next five days and according to Monk, only six points will do. Speaking to the Evening Post, Monk claimed that if Swansea are to challenge for honours this season then a decent start is crucial, as it provides a platform to build from. The ex-Saints defender went on to say that the only way to force Swans supporters to believe in their ability, is to claim all six points and start scoring goals.

Monk will most probably be joined in defence by Kevin Austin for tomorrow night's trip to Spotland, as the ex-Bristol Rovers defender has returned from a one-game suspension. Stuart Jones, who fuelled Swansea's horrific start with a defensive clanger, is likely to make way as Jackett's men prepare for another gruelling 90 minutes.
