New Stadium Set To Stage Welsh International

The Welsh International side have agreed to stage a friendly match in Swansea's new stadium this summer. The fixture, which is likely to be either against Belgium or Slovenia, will mark part of the celebrations of the opening of Swansea's new 20,000 all-seater stadium and will take place in August.

However, the fixture to open the stadium has still yet to be announced. Swansea had hoped that Juventus would travel to South Wales to mark the occasion, but it appears that the Italian giants are set to snub the offer. Nevertheless, Swansea chiefs still remain hopeful of bagging a large side to provide a fitting start to the city's new major sporting attraction.
