Ahead of tomorrow afternoon's encounter with Swansea at the Liberty Stadium, Reading manager Steve Coppell, in an interview with the Reading Evening Post, said that he believes that the Swans are still in with a shout of promotion.

He said: "They have style. Their passing is just something you can admire. The skills that manager Roberto Martinez has brought to the game in terms of his management reflect what he is looking for and they are a delight to watch on a week-to-week basis. They are well capable of being promoted this year and they will be looking to reverse their 4-0 defeat at Madejski."

Coppell seems likely to start with the same team he started last week in a 4-0 win against Watford. However, Reading will be without defender Andre Bikey for the trip. The Cameroon international is suspended after picking up five bookings this season and has also picked up ankle ligament damage which fortunately for him does not require surgery.

The Swans will be without Leon Britton who is also suspended after picking up five bookings. His place is likely to be taken by either Owain Tudur-Jones or possibly Nathan Dyer, depending on how Roberto decides to reshuffle his team. In an interview with the Swans official site, Swans captain Gary Monk said that the team is full of confidence ahead of tomorrow's game.

"We've been performing really well; we registered an important win at Burnley and followed that up with a victory in the cup against Histon. Those results were a massive confidence boost for the boys and hopefully we can take it into the Reading game. That's what won us promotion last year, by taking each game as it comes, and that's what we're doing this season."

Swansea City(probable); De Vries; Rangel; Monk; Williams; Tate; Butler; Gomez; Pratley; Allen; Gower; Scotland. Subs (from) Konstantopoulos; Serran; Orlandi; Owain Tudur-Jones; Pintado; Bauza.
