LDV Vans Trophy First Round Draw

The draw for the LDV Vans Trophy First Round will be made on the morning of Saturday 28th. The draw, live on Sky’s Soccer AM, has been split geographically into Northern and Southern sections and features all sides from League One, Two and the top 12 finishers in last season’s Conference. As always, two sides from both sections will receive byes into the next round.

Swansea’s recent record in the competition is extremely poor. In fact, the Swans have failed to progress past the first stage in each of the last three seasons, suffering defeats against Brighton, Stevenage and Southend.

The Football League has released details on the allocated sides in each section. Swansea will be entered into the Southern draw, which contains ten teams from League One, fourteen from League Two and six from the Conference:
