Forbes Added To Injury List

Swansea's right winger Adrian Forbes will be sidelined for at least a month after he sustained an injury in Saturday's 3-0 victory against Chester. Forbes suffered ligament damage during last weekend's match and will not be fit again until March.

Swansea's latest injury blow could pave the way for a return to first-team action for Brad Maylett, who has just returned from injury himself. Maylett played against Caernarfon Town in last week's 5-0 FAW Premier Cup victory and could make his first league start of 2005 in this friday's clash with Southend.

However with club captain Roberto Martinez now fit again, Jackett is likely to keep faith in Leon Britton - moving the pint-sized midfielder onto the right wing to accomodate the Spaniard this Friday. With the likes of Kris O'Leary, James Thomas and Kevin Nugent already on the injury list, and a tough run-in now set to commence with six matches in the next 22 days, Jackett will be hoping that his side suffer no immediate fresh injuries and can sustain their promotion push.
