Chico time for Swansea
Updated Tuesday, 10th July 2012
Michael Laudrup has made his first signing as Swansea manager with the capture of centre-half Jose Manuel Flores from Genoa for an initial fee of ?2million.
The 25-year-old, better known as Chico, completed his medical on Monday and has put pen to paper on a three-year contract, subject to international clearance.
"I am very happy to be here," Flores told the Swansea website.
"I know I am joining a club that has been growing over the last few years and is still ambitious to go even higher."
