Chairman Insists More Signings Imminent

Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed that Kenny Jackett is currently looking to add to his squad as the South Wales club attempt to strengthen their promotion campaign. Jenkins had an approach for Bristol City's Marc Goodfellow turned down by Bristol City yesterday, but claimed that there will be plenty more transfer action in the coming weeks.

Jackett has already admitted his intention to find a left-footed left winger to add further balance to his side, although he is also expected to bolster Swansea's striking options in the immediate future. Speculation is currently rife in South Wales as to just who these targets might be, with Cheltenham's Grant McCann and Macclesfield's Matthew Tipton thought to be near the top of the list.

However, as Jenkins stated to the Evening Post, "It's a matter of seeing who is available and seeing what can be done". "You should always strengthen when you are doing well rather than when you are struggling".
