Anderson joins Forest

There was disappointing news for Swans fans this afternoon as Paul Anderson has decided to join Nottingham Forest instead of Swansea City or Derby. Anderson may be back at the Liberty playing against the Swans in our first home game of the season, provided he makes the Forest team.Anderson's family is from nearby Melton Mowbray and according to the Forest official site Anderson jumped at the chance of a move back to his native East Midlands.

Speaking to the Notts Forest official site Anderson said
:

"I enjoyed last season at Swansea but after speaking to Forest I just felt that it was the right move for me. "I'm joining a big club in Forest and I am very excited about the challenge of trying to help them make an impact in the Championship.
"I realise I will face a battle to get into the team because there are some very good players here but I have confidence in my ability to do that."

Anderson was a big hit at the Liberty last season scoring 10 goals in 36 appearances. This now leaves Roberto Martinez with few options on the right-side of midfield, with only Thomas Butler and Leon Britton able to play in that position. No doubt Roberto has something up his sleeve, and lets hope he can replace Anderson with a similar or perhaps better player. Time will tell.
