Accusations Fly Over Alsop Sacking

Earlier this week, ex-Swansea striker Julian Alsop was sensationally sacked from his contract at Oxford United following a charge of gross misconduct. However, the Sun Newspaper is reporting that the incident leading to Alsop's dismissal could have serious implications for the giant forward. Reports today suggest that Alsop was involved in an attack on a youth team player...involving a banana!

Alsop formed part of the 2000 Division Three Championship winning side at Swansea, where he partnered the likes of Steve Watkin and Walter Boyd in attack. Now the huge striker is on the lookout for a new club after he was involved in a "prank that went too far" and looks likely to see the ex-Swan charged with sexual assault.

The striker was involved in a play-fight with the youth team player that "spiralled out of control", ending in the youngster being stripped naked and weeping as a banana was allegedly thrust up his backside! The unknown youth team player told no-one at the club until his angry parents demanded that Oxford take action against the veteran striker. Alsop was sacked on Monday.
