Swansea manager Brian Flynn admitted that the fans had every right to ask questions about his team's performance as the Swans crashed to a 4-0 defeat against high-flying Kidderminster.

A section of the Vetch Field faithful chanted for Flynn's head after Sam Shilton, John Melligan, Drewe Broughton and an Andrew Mumford own goal condemned Swansea to another defeat under the former Wrexham man.

"Of course they want answers because they want the Swans to do well and we all want the Swans to do well," said Flynn. "They are as frustrated as anyone, but we couldn't give them something to cheer about." Kidderminster went into the break a goal up and deservedly so having dominated possession. Shilton was the grateful recipient of Bo Henriksen's sliced shot and had an empty net to pick his spot from to put the Harriers in the lead on 27 minutes.

Any hopes of a revitalised Swansea after the break were dashed in a dazzling spell from the visitors which saw three goals in ten minutes.

Mumford nipped in front of his marker from a Melligan corner but directed it past his own keeper to cap a disappointing night for the Welsh Under-21 man.

The 51st minute blooper was followed up by a real poacher's effort from Broughton, who connected with an inviting cross from the right and powered the ball into the roof into the net.

A brilliant solo performance from on-loan Melligan was capped when he skipped past the flat footed Swans defence and slotted home past the exposed Roger Freestone.

The Wolves man had continually caused the home side problems with his deep running from midfield and earned the plaudits from victorious manager Ian Britton.

But the disheartened Swans crowd gave all the Kidderminster players a pat on the back when they chanted "You are very good" at their tormentors despite seeing their own side drop once again into the relegation zone
