Oldham Athletic 1 v 0 Swansea City

Swans were disappointingly beaten 1-0 by Oldham at Boundary Park this afternoon. Oldham substitute Maheta Molango scored the only goal of the game on 67 minutes with a header inside the six-yard box.

Lee Trundle had a great chance to equalize for the Swans from the penalty spot on 72 minutes, but his left-footed shot to the bottom-right of the goal was well saved by Oldham goal-keeper Chris Howarth.

Swans performance lacked confidence and composure. As well as the penalty, Trundle also hit the crossbar, and Jackett now has to find a winning formula for the Doncaster game next Saturday, in which the Swans desperately need to start winning.
