Swans unbeaten run of five games disappointingly came to an end this afternoon at the Priestfield Stadium as Gillingham deservedly won the game 3-1. Swans consolation goal was scored by Leon Knight with his third goal in two games.

The Gills dominated the game from start to finish and goals from centre-half Ian Cox on 15 & 79 minutes and Matt Jarvis on 30 minutes gave the home side all three points. Swans did have further chances to score, but both Dennis Lawrence and Bayo Akinfenwa failed to hit the target.
