Watford v Swansea

Last updated : 27 September 2010 By BBC Sport

Swansea City are expected to welcome back both Scott Sinclair and Stephen Dobbie from hamstring and ankle problems respectively.

David Cotterill (groin) is out after being forced off in Saturday's loss at Nottingham Forest, while Darren Pratley (shoulder) faces a late fitness test.

MATCH PREVIEW

After another thumping win on Saturday, Watford are third in the table and have every reason to be in buoyant mood. They followed the recent 6-1 mauling of Millwall with a victory against Middlesbrough at the weekend - the Hornets' third win in a row and their first of the season at home.

Danny Graham's two goals on Saturday against the club that released him took his tally for the campaign to eight, and made a mockery of pre-season predictions that his current side would struggle and his former one would be title contenders. Boro are struggling, while Watford are third.

They could move into the top two if they beat Swansea, who have won all four of their home matches this term but lost all four of their away games, with the most recent defeat coming in Saturday's 3-1 reverse at Nottingham Forest.

Watford fans would like nothing more than to see their team condemn Swans boss Brendan Rodgers to another away loss. Rodgers, who left the Hertfordshire club last year to embark on an unsuccessful spell as Reading manager, is sure to get a hostile reception on his return to Vicarage Road.
