Watford v Swansea

Last updated : 08 March 2010 By BBC Sport

Swansea City are set to be without skipper Garry Monk (back) for a fourth successive game.

David Cotterill, Joe Allen, Federico Bessone, Andrea Orlandi, Jordi Lopez, Ferrie Bodde and Albert Serran are also out, while Gorka Pintado is suspended.

MATCH PREVIEW

Swansea needed a last-gasp equaliser from Alan Tate to rescue a point when these sides drew 1-1 at the Liberty Stadium early in the season.

After a poor start to the campaign, there were signs of discontent among Swans fans during that game. But the transformation in the club's fortunes since they last faced the Hornets has been stark.

They suffered their first defeat of 2010 when they lost to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, but Paulo Sousa's team are fourth in the table and on course for at least a play-off place.

Watford are looking to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat against fellow strugglers Derby, which left Malky Mackay's side 16th and only two points above the relegation zone.
