David Theobald and David Moss have left the club, with manager Brian Flynn saying that it was in the best interests of both parties for them to continue their careers elsewhere.

"Obviously, both of them are very disappointed that it hasn't worked out for them here, but I'm sure that they can bounce back from this and everybody at the club wishes them all the best for the future," he said.

Meanwhile their departures are in contrast to 18-year-old Stuart Jones who has been offered his first professional contract with the club.

"Stuart has done well since I came here and this is the reward for all the hard work and effort he has shown," said Flynn.

"He still has a lot of hard work to do, but we are pleased that he'll be doing that work in a Swansea City shirt."
