Trundle Takes League Two Player Of Month Award

Swansea striker Lee Trundle has been awarded the Powerade Divisional Player Of The Month for January. Trundle has been in fine form, netting five goals in total, including braces against both Chester and Boston.

Sky's Chris Kamara opted for Trundle after some recent dazzling displays, which have seen the ex-Wrexham forward flying up the goal-scoring charts. However, despite recent speculation linking him with a move to a number of Championship clubs, including Nottingham Forest and Burnley, Swansea Chairman Huw Jenkins claimed in midweek that he would not even contemplate selling the club's biggest asset and hopes that the striker's goals can fire his side to promotion come May.

Winners in full:

Championship - Danny Gabbidon (Cardiff)
League One - Adam Boyd (Hartlepool)
League Two - Lee Trundle (Swansea)
