Trundle Becomes Injury Worry

Star striker Lee Trundle could miss Saturday's League Two fixture at Wycombe after struggling with a minor knee injury. Top-scorer Trundle missed training yesterday and Jackett is worried that he may miss Swansea's encounter with Tony Adams' league leaders at the weekend.

Last season's top scorer missed all of Swansea's pre-season schedule and the first few fixtures of the season with a knee problem. Another injury to Trundle would be a major blow for Swansea, who have slowly began stringing a set of positive results together. Victory on Saturday would see the South Wales club moving back into the playoffs and would prove a hugely morale-boosting three points - but there is no doubt that a Swansea side with Lee Trundle is far more effective than one without.

Also set to miss Saturday's game is central defender Izzy Iriekpen, who limped off after just half an hour against Kidderminster with a thigh strain.
