Top Three Escape From Pack

Swansea's excellent recent form keeps them riding high on goal difference at the top of League One, as the leading three sides pull away from the rest of the table. Victories for Southend and Huddersfield mean that a five point gap has emerged between the top three sides and the chasing pack, with all three sides seperated only by goal difference.

Lee Trundle's ninth goal of the season ensured the Swans claimed all three points at Bournemouth, although in reality the victory should have been far more comfortable due to an alarming number of missed chances. The Swans totally dominated from the start and deservedly claimed another crucial away victory.

Two late goals from Freddie Eastwood put the gloss on Southend's victory against managerless Yeovil, with the Shrimpers remaining second in the table with their 4-1 win. Meanwhile, Huddersfield snatched a late winner against pre-season favourites Tranmere Rovers to keep them level on points with the top two.
