Three Trialists Depart Club

On the eve of the kick-off of pre-season training, Swansea manager has released three of the five trialists that have been training with the club for the past fortnight. Australian's Matthew Gordon and Ian Ramsey have both left the club, alongside Congolese International Jean-Paul Kamudimba after failing to sufficiently impress the management staff in training.

Big things were hoped of Ramsey and Gordon, after Jackett was given a tip-off by a usually reliable source as to their potential, yet unfortunately it just wasn't to be. Meanwhile, Kamudimba will continue his domestic search for a new club after being released from OGC Nice and could perhaps return to Grimsby, where he turned down a contract offer three weeks ago.

Meanwhile, ex-Leeds defender Stuart Edwards will continue his stay at the club after somewhat impressing Kenny Jackett and is likely to play some part in tomorrow's friendly at Merthyr. However, the other remaining trialist Owain Tudor Jones, will return to Bangor for the weekend, thus missing the Merthyr friendly.
