"These Are Exciting Times!"

After burying his first ever Swansea City goal in Tuesday night's victory over Luton Town, Sam Ricketts declared that there was yet more to come from an on-form Swansea side. Despite playing against a heavily depleted League One side, who played for 80 mins with 10 men due to the early dismissal of Leon Barnett, Swansea once again dominated proceedings and earned a well deserved 2-0 victory to be proud of.

Speaking to the Evening Post, Ricketts claimed that there is still more to come from Swansea, who head to Chester on Saturday with major optimism and confidence of claiming three more points. ''We're playing well as a defence and the lads in midfield and up front are playing their part as well" stated Ricketts, "...there's a long way to go, but it's just a question of keeping things going".

Manager Kenny Jackett is also confident that Swansea can continue their current impressive record, which shows six wins from seven games and the best defensive record in all three Coca Cola divisions. "We've got the fantastic habit of winning games just now" claimed Jackett, who will be hoping that his side can outwit ex-Welsh hero Ian Rush at Chester on Saturday and keep their fantastic run going.
