Swansea v Watford

Last updated : 07 March 2011 By BBC Sport

Watford captain John Eustace is available again after serving a suspension, but Danny Drinkwater remains a doubt with a thigh injury.

Full-back Lloyd Doyley is still out with with a hamstring problem, so youngster Adam Thompson will continue in his place.

MATCH PREVIEW

Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers praised his players for their performance at Scunthorpe, despite their surprise 1-0 defeat. City stayed in second place because the teams around them also slipped up.

The only team that did not was leaders Queens Park Rangers, whose win against Leicester took them eight points clear of the Swans, who effectively trail them by nine points because of the London club's vastly superior goal difference.

City, who had won four in a row before Saturday's loss, face a Watford side that preserved their slim chance of a play-off place with a 1-0 victory against Millwall last time out.

Danny Graham's 21st goal of the season - the striker's 18th in the league - secured that win, which was the Hornets' first in 10 matches and a much-needed boost after a difficult spell for Rodgers' former club.
