Swansea prepare for Rangel scan

Swansea City will learn the seriousness of defender Angel Rangel's groin injury when he undergoes a scan on Monday.The Spanish right-back limped off after just seven minutes of their 1-0 Championship defeat at Bristol City on Saturday due to a groin problem.

Fellow Spaniard Albert Serran replaced Rangel at Ashton Gate and he or Alan Tate is on standby to come in.

Defender Fede Bessone is nearing a comeback from a calf injury but Ferrie Bodde and Jordi Lopez are still out.
