Swansea City v Luton Town

Last updated : 22 February 2008 By Tycoch Jack
The Swans entertain struggling Luton Town at the Liberty Stadium tonight kick-off 7.45pm. Swans will be without Guillame Bauza, who has a groin strain and will be missing for at least two weeks. Paul Anderson may also be rested, even though he made a fleeting appearance in Tuesday's defeat by MK Dons. Dennis Lawrence has returned to full training, but is not expected to play this evening.

Luton will be without winger come striker Dean Morgan (groin), but Steve Robinson can play as a forthcoming one-match ban will not apply until the Hatters' next match. Luton Captain Chris Perry should also be fit after a recent leg injury.

This season has been an extraordinary one for the Swans. They are now unbeaten in 16 league games and should that extend to 20 (record is now 19), Martinez would have supervised Swansea to their finest league run in the club's history. Since he joined the Swans as manager exactly one year ago, Martinez has presided over 34 wins in 55 Swansea games, losing just nine.

I have followed the Swans personally for over 30 years and in my humble opinion, this is the best side I have seen during that time, including John Toshack 1st division side.

Tonight's Referee is Andy Penn from the West Midlands.

Swans(probable): De Vries, Rangel, Tate, Monk, Painter, Butler, Bodde, Pratley, Britton, Robinson, Scotland. Subs from: Knight, Lawrence, Austin, Way, O'Leary, McDonald, Brandy, Duffy.

UP THE SWANS!!!!
