Swans set for double lift

On-loan Chelsea striker Borini bagged a first-half brace in Monday's 4-1 win over Ipswich before being replaced at half-time but the Italian should be okay to face the Lions.

Manager Brendan Rodgers told City`s official website: "Fabio had a bit of swelling just above the ankle. He could have probably kept on playing but it was a good chance for him to have a rest."

Gower missed the game altogether due to a minor ankle problem of his own but he is also expected to be in contention at The Den.

After admitting Scott Sinclair is showing signs of tiredness, Rodgers may well again opt to once again start the 23-goal winger on the bench with Swans having already secured their play-off place.

On-loan striker Tamas Priskin has returned to parent club Ipswich after sustaining medial ligament damage which rules him out for the remainder of the season.
