Swans "Extremely Disappointed" With Referee's Decision

Swansea claim that they were "extremely hard done-by" after losing a hard-fought point at Huish Park on Saturday, with the awarding of a contraversial late penalty. Defender Sam Ricketts claims that the referee made two wrong decisions in awarding the penalty that gifted Yeovil a somewhat fortunate three points.

Ricketts claims that the move should have been stopped after the initial ball that left Yeovil striker Jevons at least three or four yards offside. Swansea have studied the video Saturday's incident, where it is clear to see that the ex-Hull and Everton striker was a good few yards offside. The defender then claims that Garry Monk's initial tackle was made outside the box, with the attacker falling into the penalty area.

However, manager Kenny Jackett kept his opinions more to himself, claiming that "these things even themselves out over the course of a season". Jackett did admit though that he was disappointed with the referee's decision and will be looking to put that right with three points against Kidderminster on Saturday.
