Darren Pratley, Stephen Dobbie and David Cotterill are possible starters.

MATCH PREVIEW

With Gary Speed having departed to manage Wales, John Carver takes caretaker charge of Sheffield United and has the task of restoring confidence to a struggling team that has lost their last two matches and are only one point above the bottom three.

The Blades are also the lowest scorers in the Championship. They have netted only 16 times this season and have failed to score in their last two outings. Barring the odd heavy defeat though, their matches have tended to be tight affairs - they have lost five games 1-0, and won five 1-0.

Swansea, who have not won at United since 1939, have been breathing down the necks of second-placed Cardiff, and now only trail their jittery rivals on goal difference. But their own form has not been great, with one win in their last four matches and two from their last six.

But they have not lost away from home since September, and have shown struggling teams no mercy this term. The Swans have won all four of their matches against sides that are currently in the bottom five.
