Swans midfielder Andy Robinson has been left out of the northern-bound squad to face Darlington, after being charged with a committing a public order offence at the weekend. Robinson was involved in an alleged incident in the early hours of Sunday morning and was consequently arrested for his actions.

Robinson must appear in Swansea's Magistrates Court on Thursday morning to answer charges of a minor offence, with a fine the most likely punishment. However, Swansea may also choose to discipline last season's player of the season, who was on a night out after the side's 0-0 draw against Grimsby.

Kenny Jackett is likely to wait for the court's decision on Thursday before deciding on his action against one of his top performers. Meanwhile, the club will be forced to do without him as they face fellow promotion-rivals Darlington in tonight's crucial League Two fixture.
