Swansea midfielder Andy Robinson has been found guilty of a public order offence and fined £300 by Swansea Magistrates Court. The court announced its decision on Thursday morning and also demanded that Robinson pay £50 court costs. Robinson has also been fined the maximum two weeks wages by the club and told that he will not be included for Swansea's crucial promotion fixture against Scunthorpe on Saturday.

Robinson was alleged to have used threatening behaviour to door-staff at Time nightclub in Swansea after his girlfriend was searched upon entering the venue. Last season's player of the season was arrested and dropped from Swansea's midweek match at Darlington.

Despite hitting the midfielder with a maximum club fine, Kenny Jackett has stated that the door is still open for Robinson to make a return to first team football. However, the odds are firmly stacked against Robbo, who must now attempt to overcome the impressive new signing Kevin McLeod who has since stolen his position.
