Roberts Moves To Forest Green

Local boy and ex-Swans favourite Stuart Roberts has signed for Conference outfit Forest Green Rovers for the remainder of the season. Roberts deemed surplus to requirements at Kidderminster Harriers earlier in the week and has wasted no time in finding a new club.

The young winger originally left the Vetch for £100k during the Petty era to sign for Wycombe Wanderers, but returned to the Vetch for a brief spell at the end of last season. Roberts was then released by Kenny Jackett in the summer, and after brief spells with Chester and Kidderminster, has fallen into the Conference with Forest Green. Many Swans supporters will be disappointed that the player never lived up to the potential that he had shown in his youth and now finds himself battling in the non-league.
