Ricketts Gets International Call-Up

Sam Ricketts has been called up to the Welsh International squad to face England and Poland next month by John Toshack. The Swansea full-back was selected in the 25-man squad after a series of excellent performances at International level and will be hoping to add to his four caps at the Millenium Stadium on September 3rd.

Ricketts has an excellent chance of starting against the English, as first-choice left-back Ben Thatcher will be suspended, meaning that the Swansea full-back could find himself marking David Beckham in front of a crowd of over 70,000.
