A young Swansea side overcame FC Noordwijk 4-1 on Saturday afternoon, with a goal for Brad Maylett and a hat-trick from youngster Mark Pritchard.

Starting Line Up:

Murphy

Jones - Rewberry - Surman - Davies

Roberts - Corbisiero - Fisken - Evans

Pritchard - Maylett

Jackett opted to blood the youngsters in this penultimate Dutch Tour friendly, with Roberts, Evans and Surman all granted starts after being flown in yesterday.

Noordwijk took the lead in the first half against the run of play, when a Surman clearance was deflected into the path of an opposition striker, leaving Murphy with no chance. Swansea's equaliser came in the form of a Pritchard penalty, after Roberts had been dragged down just inside the box. Swansea took the lead through Brad Maylett not long before half time, as the makeshift centre forward finsihed from a one-on-one situation.

The second half saw wave after wave of Swansea attacks, with Pritchard completing his hat-trick in fine style. The striker's second occurred after he won a 50-50 with the Noordwijk keeper, before clinching his hat-trick with a low shot from outside of the box. Noordwijk offered very little in resistance, although Brian Murphy looked slightly dodgy again when claiming simple crosses.

It was an impressive performance from the youngsters, with Pritchard certainly looking capable of breaking into the first team on a more permanent basis soon. One worrying aspect of today's match, were yet more injuries - this time to Gary Fisken and Antonio Corbisiero. Jackett will just be hoping that the injury list shows signs of decreasing soon.
