Poll Results: Thommo Not Up To It

Swans MAD's latest poll results have shown that most supporters believe that James Thomas is not good enough to win a place in the current side. 57% of voters believe that the one time Vetch Field hero could no longer hold down a place in Kenny Jackett's new look Swansea side, after the additions of such strikers as Lee Trundle, Paul Connor and Lee Thorpe.

Thomas' crucial goals in the 2002/03 season will live long in the memory of all Swansea supporters, as his last day hat-trick prevented the club from losing its coveted league status. However, an injury-ravaged two seasons have allowed other strikers, such as the prolific Trundle, to establish themselves as first choice, leaving many supporters doubting Thomas' ability to fight his way back into the starting line-up.
