O'Leary Agrees New Deal

Kris O'Leary became the final out-of-contract player to accept a new contract with the club, after he agreed terms on Monday. Last season's player-of-the-year signed a two year deal that will entitle him to a testimonial next summer and end speculation regarding his future.

Despite reports from Leyton Orient and Macclesfield stating otherwise, it was always going to be unlikely that local-boy O'Leary would turn down the offer of higher division football with his hometown-club and turn down a new contract to return to League Two. Somewhat unsuprisingly, O'Leary will surely be one of the first names on the team-sheet for next season's campaign in League One in August.

O'Leary joins Kevin Austin, Leon Britton, Izzy Iriekpen and Brian Murphy by agreeing new deals to stay at the club and will sign upon his return from holiday next week.
