"Nothing Will Be Won Until May"

Swansea midfielder Kris O'Leary has stated that this season will be a "marathon" for the club and has warned the fans not to get carried away just yet. The recently awarded PFA Fans Player for September believes that Swansea can be in the running come May, but wants supporters to keep the faith should they be unable to overturn Mansfield on Friday night.

The South Wales club will become league leaders should they better Yeovil's result on Friday night, but will face a stern test in fellow promotion-hopefuls
Mansfield. Like the Swans, the visitors are also enjoying an impressive run of form and will provide a tricky hurdle for Jackett's side to overcome.

The club are fully expecting Friday's fixture to sell out, with just over 10,000 supporters largely expecting Swansea to top the pile come Saturday morning. However, speaking to the Western Mail, O'Leary revealed "It'll be great to lead the division - don't forget it happened this time last season, though". "We just can't afford to get carried away by our recent run" stated O'Leary, "I'm certain nobody within our squad will allow this to happen."

And so the scene is set for an epic showdown on Friday night, not least due to the intense rivalry between the two clubs that resulted from this corresponding fixture last season. It seems evident that Swansea will be looking to steal top spot from rivals Yeovil, but will not be getting carried away even if they do.
