No Suprises Likely Before Deadline

With the deadline fast-approaching, Kenny Jackett has warned Swansea supporters not to get their hopes up over any last minute transfer deals. Although the club are continuing their search for fresh talent, it is highly unlikely that any new faces will join the squad before Wednesday's midnight deadline.

However, Jackett has reassured supporters by placing emphasis on the loan options that the club will still have after the deadline passes. Should the squad need strengthening, the manager may look to bring in players on initial loan deals over the next four months to keep the Swans ticking over.

The news coming from Yeovil town is that any transfer for Lee Johnson is extremely unlikely, whilst West Ham's Gavin Williams is another that will most probably not be wearing a Swansea shirt next weekend. No players are expected to leave in the next 12 hours, making for a quiet transfer-deadline day.
