New Stadium Season Tickets Delayed Until March

Last updated : 24 January 2005 By Richard Evans
Swansea have postponed the sale of season tickets for their new home until March, as they have opted to wait until all individual contractors have completed their work. This will then allow supporters to enter the stadium and select the exact area of the ground that they wish to be seated in before committing to parting with their hard-earned cash.

Director David Morgan also confirmed that there all fans will be granted access to the numerous bars throughout the stadium, although only season-ticket holders will be allowed into the Supporters' Bar.

Work is nearing completion in the as yet-unnamed stadium, with the task of laying the new pitch being the latest obstacle on the planners' minds. All the seats are now fully installed, with work still underway in the executive and office areas of the stadium. The new stadium will replace the Vetch Field and become Swansea's new home in 2005/06.
