Swansea have unveiled their new home shirt for next season, which will be available to buy at the club shop from July 23rd. The shirt is likely to be the first of many from Italian manufacturers Macron, who now officially replace Bergoni as the club's kit makers. The new away kit will be released in the next few weeks, as will the new shirt sponsor, which does not currently feature on today's new home kit (photo supplied by www.scfc.co.uk).

Swansea Vice-Chairman Leigh Dineen gave this press release:

Swansea City would like to announce the signing of a new kit manufacturer. Macron, based in Bologna, Italy will take over from the current suppliers Bergoni in readiness for the new season.

“We are delighted to have signed a three year deal and we are very exited that we have found such an innovative, forward thinking company to manufacture our kit for the next three years. Macron have over 30 years experience in sport and lesuire wear and its brand is now recognised globally. Technical team wear with the Macron label is used by teams of all levels throughout the world. We are proud to be the first British professional team to use Macron as a supplier but envisage that we will not be the last”

“We would also like to take this opportunity in thanking our outgoing manufacturer Bergoni. Through very difficult circumstances at the beginning of the current boards tenure Bergoni showed exemplarily commitment and professionalism in running and stocking the club shop on our behalf. We wish them all the best for the future”

“The new home shirt is unveiled today with the away to follow along with our new shirt sponsors. The new club shop at the stadium is expected to open prior to the home game against Fulham on 23rd July. The new shirts will be available in the new shop to purchase from that time.”
