Murphy Nervous About Recall

Irish Under-21 goalkeeper Brian Murphy is set for his first appearance of the season tomorrow at Boston United - and has admitted that he hopes his nerves don't get the better of him. With the exception of a handful of reserve and Under-21 International matches, Murphy has seen precious little action so far this year and has been viewed as an under-study to the ever-present Willy Gueret.

However, with Willy Gueret picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Wycombe on Saturday, Brian Murphy finds himself forced back into the reckoning for this weekend's vital League Two clash. Boston United are unbeaten at home this season, with Andy Kirk scoring 14 goals in his last 16 games and it will be up to Murphy to give Swansea a solid defensive base on which to build on.

"The moment Willy got booked last Saturday, Kevin Nugent turned round and gave me a little smile", Murphy told the Evening Post. "I can't wait to get out there now and hopefully it will go well".
