MATCH PREVIEW - SWANS V CREWE ALEXANDRA

Last updated : 26 September 2006 By Knightfever

Swans take on Crewe Alexandra at the Liberty Stadium tonight, kick-off 7.45pm, and really must start to get back to winning ways.

Lee Trundle, Bayo Akinfenwa, Kevin Austin and Kevin Amankwah are all definitely out with injuries. Darren Pratley has been struggling with injury since last Saturday's 1-2 defeat to Huddersfield, but should be available to take his place. Rory Fallon will probably replace Bayo and partner Leon Knight up front.

You would think that Kenny Jackett would be feeling the pressure after two straight defeats and the prospect of an away fixture against Forest coming up on Saturday. Speaking to BBC Wales, Jackett said:

"There's always been pressure on me, but I don't feel any more pressure now, I've just got a burning desire to rectify this and we start to climb the table." "I know they are good sides, but I'm only looking at one team and at the moment that's Swansea City.

"Crewe have some good footballers and I'm not underestimating them at all. "As usual, they have players that will go onwards and upwards in the league pyramid, but my only concern is Swansea City."

The referee for tonight's game is Paul Taylor from Hertfordshire

Swans probable line up tonight: Gueret, Tate, Lawrence, Izzy, Williams, Pratley,Britton, Way, Robinson,Knight, Fallon. Subs, from: Oakes, Watt, MacDonald, Butler, Akinfenwa.

UP THE SWANS!!
