Mansfield Referee U-Turn

The Football League have decided to change the official in charge of this Friday's Swansea-Mansfield fixture due to last season's occurrences. Lee Probert, the same official that was in charge of last year's violent encounter, was suprisingly placed in charge of Friday's game - an appointment which has now been changed by the League.

Last season saw numerous 20-man brawls, two red cards, Mansfield's Keith Curle lose his cool and several players lucky to escape serious injury after Probert "lost control" of the match. Swansea ran out eventual 4-1 winners but the game created a nasty rivalry between both clubs and fans alike, which saw another sending off at Field Mill later in the season.

Graham Salisbury has now been officially appointed as the match referee and both managers will be hoping that there is no repeat of last year's brawl.
