League One Top Scorer

Last updated : 27 September 2006 By Rob Davies
Swansea's Number 24 Leon Knight!

He fired home last night in the match against Crewe Alexandra to take his tally up to seven.
He made the score 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium and Crewe couldn't equalise to the much in-form Swansea City.
Knight is sharing the top spot with Bradford City's Dean Windass and Huddersfield Town's Gary Taylor-Fletcher. Trailing behind are Nicky Maynard for Crewe, Scott Mcgleish Northampton, Grant Holt Nottingham Forest, Leon Constantine Port Vale and Will Hoskins for 24th place Rotherham.

The excellent striker has now scored 5 goals in his last 4 games,
2 at Brentford
1 at Gillingham
1 at the Liberty Stadium against Huddersfield
and yet another for the home side against Crewe.

Watch this space as Leon Knight has only just started his season, there shall be many more goals in the future I expect!
