Late Drama Moves Swans Top!

Two late goals allowed Swansea to leapfrog league leaders Yeovil Town and take their place at the top of League Two. Just moments after Rochdale netted a late winner at Spotland to see off Yeovil 2-1, Swansea's Adrian Forbes headed home an 89th minute goal to secure all three points for Swansea...and move them to the top of the league.

In front of a crowd of just under 9,000, Kenny Jackett was delighted with the way that his team had played, yet must have wondered if it was their night after a succession of missed chances. Forbes proved to be the late hero, meaning that Swansea are looking down on the rest of the division for the first time this season.

Swansea's fantastic run of league form continues, with the Coca Cola League's best defensive record aiding a series of narrow victories and convincing local support that promotion is on its way. However, Jackett was not wanting to get carried away but remained pleased at the continued improvement in his young side.
