Kamudimba To Sign For Grimsby

Just 24 hours after being told to look elsewhere by Swansea manager Kenny Jackett, Jean-Paul Kamudimba has agreed to sign for League Two outfit Grimsby Town. Kamudimba had previously enjoyed a successful trial at Russell Slade's side last month and wasted no time in agreeing a contract with the club.

Kamudimba joined the Swans for just under two weeks in total, including the St Athans fitness regime, but the midfielder was apparently not what Jackett was after. The Congolese International had been available on a free transfer after being released by OGC Nice in May and had apparently also attracted the interest of Luton and Hearts.
