JOHNSTONE'S PAINT TROPHY - SWANS AWAIT DRAW

Last updated : 22 September 2006 By Knightfever
Sixteen teams have been given a bye to the second round of the Johnston Paints Trophy, formerly the Football League Trophy. Unfortunately the
Swans aren't one of them. Swansea are currently the holders of this Trophy and perhaps we should have received a bye!

The competition takes on a different format this season. Unlike the last few seasons, Conference National teams are not involved. Also, the 32 teams not receiving byes have been split into four geographical sections for the first round - for which the full draw is on Saturday.
